NEWSLETTER

If you have registered for our newsletter with your e-mail address, we will store and use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter with information and advertising about us until you have unsubscribed from our newsletter.

For our newsletter service, we use the newsletter service “Mailchimp” from Rocket Sience Group LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308.

If you enter your e-mail address to receive the newsletter, it will first be stored by Mailchimp for the purpose of sending the owner an e-mail in which he/she can confirm the subscription to the newsletter (“double opt-in”). After such confirmation, the e-mail address is stored permanently by Mailchimp until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or we delete it. Mailchimp stores the date of registration and the IP address used to register. Your IP address will not be used for any other purpose.

We would like to point out that the data collected and used via Mailchimp is stored and processed on computers in the USA. By agreeing to receive our newsletter, you declare your consent to this. In addition, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Mailchimp on the basis of the so-called EU standard contractual clauses. Your e-mail address will not be passed on to third parties in any other way.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Every e-mail containing our newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also revoke your consent to us using your e-mail address for the future at any time. To do so, please use the contact options provided below.

VIMEO-VIDEOS

Plugins from Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA, are used on the website for video content. When you access a page with an integrated Vimeo plugin, a connection is established to the Vimeo servers in the USA. This tells Vimeo which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo can assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile if you are logged into your Vimeo account. You can prevent this by logging out beforehand.

You can find Vimeo’s privacy policy here: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM

Plug-ins from the social network Facebook or Instagram from Meta Platforms Inc. (until October 2021 Facebook Inc.) are integrated on the website for sharing content. The plug-ins are marked with the familiar LinkedIn logo and allow content to be shared directly via our website.

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page.

Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by clicking the “Like” button, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends.

The privacy policy of Facebook Inc. can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.

LINKEDIN

Plug-ins from the social media network LinkedIn, LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, are integrated on the website for sharing content. The plug-ins are marked with the familiar LinkedIn logo and allow content to be shared directly via our website.

By embedding such plug-ins, data can be sent to LinkedIn, stored and processed there.
